Privacy & Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Tech Savvy Solutions Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website, and how we use cookies. We've written it in plain English. Last updated 23 June 2026.
Who we are
Tech Savvy Solutions Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a managed service provider based at 1 to 9 Kingsley Street, Bury, BL8 2RF. We are the "data controller" responsible for your personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us using the details in the "How to contact us" section below.
What information we collect
We only collect the information we need to respond to you and run our website properly:
- Contact form details — when you complete our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message.
- Broadband checker details — when you use our broadband availability checker, we process the postcode and address you enter to look up available services. We do not use this to identify you personally.
- Analytics data — if you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymised information about how you use the site (such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type). This never includes your name or contact details.
- Technical data — like most websites, our hosting and security systems automatically log basic technical information such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and protect against abuse.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide quotes or information you've requested;
- look up broadband and connectivity availability for your address;
- understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it (only with your consent);
- keep our website secure and prevent spam and abuse;
- comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
Our lawful bases
Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for processing your data. We rely on:
- Consent — for analytics cookies, which are only set after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner.
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries you send us, and to keep our website and systems secure.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information by law.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use two types:
- Essential cookies — needed for the site to work and stay secure. This includes Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our contact form from spam and bots. These don't require consent.
- Analytics cookies — we use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand how people use our site. These cookies (such as
_ga) are only set if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. Until you do, no analytics cookies are stored and no analytics data is collected. We use Google's Consent Mode and have IP anonymisation enabled.
You can change your mind at any time. To withdraw consent, clear this site's cookies and site data in your browser settings, and the cookie banner will appear again on your next visit so you can decline.
Our website is hosted on Vercel and our DNS and security are provided through Cloudflare, both of which process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. Contact form messages are delivered to us using Resend, an email delivery service.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as far as needed:
- Google — for website analytics (only with your consent).
- Cloudflare — for DNS, security and spam protection.
- Vercel — for website hosting.
- Resend — for delivering contact form messages to our inbox.
- Microsoft — our business email is provided through Microsoft 365.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent) are in place.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and contact information only for as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate business records, after which it is securely deleted. Analytics data is retained in line with Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data ("right to erasure");
- object to or restrict how we process your data;
- withdraw consent at any time (for example, for analytics cookies);
- request your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
